Domain Transwer to AWS from The third Party

How did we migrate EAIVision.Com domain to AWS from a third party and connect it to AWS Amplify in three easy steps.

This simple article provides executable steps which can be used to “migrate” a domain from third part and connect it to the app deployed in AWS Amplify.

This article assumes that you have a webapp already built, deployed and running in the Docker container in your Amplify service.

In this case we have developed the webapp using Next JS and “deployed” the code in docker container in Amplify by connecting to our GitHub

Total time taken is less than three minutes.

STEPS:

Step1: Create a Hosted zone in AWS Route53

Step2: Add a custom domain managed by Route 53 in AWS amplify:

Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amplify console Choose your app that you want to connect to a custom domain In the navigation pane, choose App Settings, Domain management. On the Domain management page, choose Add domain: Choose add domain in the navigation pane: Enter the name of your root domain and click on configure domain: Configure and save:

Step 3: Verify the domain by creating the CNAME record associated with your domain in third party:
